Hello! I am the Casey part of CaseyGirl Designs! Yes, I’m a mama...and a wife...and a friend...and an upholsterer. So many hats, I know!

This all started as sanctuary if you can believe it. Our son was born with Spina Bifida, the most severe form of it to be exact, and I needed something to do that would keep me sane as we embarked on this new road that would eventually define us. We have 2 girls in front of him and I needed to be able to still be their mama throughout all of this. CaseyGirl is my childhood nickname and I thought it appropriate to use for a business that came to life to help my family. I did not start out as an upholsterer though, no, I was more of a sewer with an entrepreneurial spirit. I apprenticed at a dance studio, learning to sew costumes and dance-wear so my daughter could dance then I moved on to making clothing for little girls and eventually I found my way into upholstery. I had a huge learning curve in front of me, but I found peace in it and so CaseyGirl Designs was really born in the fall of 2012 as an upholstery business. The rest, well, there are lots of people out there that know that part, I bet they could fill you in.
